Only four runners in the field have had success over the distance on soft ground, and they include the two market leaders, Red Infantry and ONEIDA TRIBE. Adrian Heskin's mount gets the vote.

Robin Dickin's 9yo bay gelding looked impressive last time out at Towcester, carrying 11st 13lbs in a Class 4 race. They went a decent clip in soft ground that day, and a repeat performance carrying 14lbs less ought to see him go close.

Red Infantry has never won a race carrying more than 11st 1lb, which begs the question, can he physically carry the weight and have a change of gear at the business end?
