Statistically, the best overall horseracing tipster of the day was Hurst Park Racing, who was among a healthy clutch of tipsters to back Coleorton Choice to win at Ripon at 6.90, and who ended up with a 19.10pts profit for the day. Very nice - especially if you've got time to place 167 bets to begin with!

Those a little more pressed for time might have preferred to be following Scmracing, whose 10.22pt tally on the day stemmed from a perfect record of three tips, three winners, as Pegasus Dancer won at Great Leighs at 5.75, with Sorrento Moon and Blades Princess also performing at Ripon at 4.8 and 3.21 respectively.
