RSS is known as "Really Simple Syndication" and is a Web feed format used to publish frequently updated content such as blog entries, news headlines or podcasts directly to you. A Tip Exchange "feed", contains a summary of a blog post or notifiaction of posted tips from your Tipster. RSS content can be read using software called an "RSS reader". The user subscribes to a feed by entering the feed's link into the reader or by clicking an RSS icon in a browser that initiates the subscription process.
