Junes Tipster of the month for horse racing was Queribus who finished with a mightily impressive 72pts to take top honours. Close behind was elite league Tipster Caligula with 59pts and third was Place Plots on 54pts. In football it was a walkover for Sharkie1 who thrived on the pressure of Euro 2008 to record 42pts profit for June. No one was even close with On The Ball finishing second with just 3.5pts.

Sharkie1 finished Euro 2008 on a high by picking Fernando Torres to bag the first goal in the final buts its all gone quiet on the football front as we await the start of the Premiership. Not long to go now, just 5 weeks ‘til the Community shield.

But never mind the footy as we have a whole summer of racing to go before then. We have Newmarket’s July meeting, the King George VI and Queen Elizabeth meeting at Ascot and of course Glorious Goodwood. It all kicks off this weekend with the Coral Eclipse meeting at Sandown with Phoenix Tower and Mount Nelson inseparable at the head of the market.
